""A lot of people keep asking about the question of impeachment. We may very well come to that very soon," Cummings said.

"But right now, let's make sure we understand what Mueller was doing, understand what [Attorney General William] Barr was doing, and see the report in an unredacted form, and all of the underlying documents," Cummings added."

We can also safely assume that, regardless of the public statements made, Congressional Democratic leadership is considering all options and planning accordingly. This isn't their first rodeo.

a serious point to consider regarding this whole "impeach" debate:

What if, after ALL of the s**t does come out over the course of the next few weeks, months, even years, it is proven that all of what we know (and we really do know that there is more, right?) is true - how does ANY politician defend him/herself for defending this jerk?

Let's say that the "impeach" movement does take place. The House votes for it and the Senate does not.

Going into the next presidential election and even more "stuff" comes out about IQ45 (really, you don't think there's "more"?) - how does any of the 40 Repugs that voted to keep him in ever stand up in public?

There has to be a serious debate among them as to how long they can/will support him. When do you "cut bait?"

"F" them. If they want him - they can have him.

But they're gonna' pay!

as supportive of impeachment hearings as it is tonight. I have the feeling that once people read it, get past Barr's BS lies and hear Warren and others supporting it that it will continue to get more support. An earlier poll from a different source was impeach-40, don't impeach-42.

for the most part, posters have raised legitimate concerns both pro and con. We needed this conversation. But, clearly, the wind has shifted. Good Friday, indeed.

Impeachment hearings AND committees continuing and starting new investigations at the same time? If we can than we MUST do everything we can as well as winning in 2020 on Healthcare, etc. We can do more than one thing, unlike the other party which can't legislate to save its ass but can lie and corrupt like the experienced criminals they are.

to, it's possible that some of these investigations could run afoul of each other (I'm kind of surprised that there are already 14 of them (WOW), so I am curious as to exactly what those investigations are digging into). Take care.
