I was just reflecting on some of the TV greats I remember growing up; Walter Chronkite, Huntley & Brinkley (my dads favorites) and Dorothy Fuldheim. She was based in Cleveland so not sure how wide her audience was. Dont know what made me think of her. I guess just lamenting the dirge of intelligent journalists these days.

(46,299 posts)1. A guy in Milwaukee I liked a lot.
Worked for WISN, Jerry Taff.
He would sign off his newscast by saying "Better tomorrows."

(24,392 posts)2. I remember her well...along with Ghoulardi making fun of her.
She was a trail-blazing force in womens roles on TV being equal to men.
The first lady of broadcast news.
