Jill Wine-Banks, along with Joyce Vance: Time for Democrats to start a counter narrative effort

They were on Eleventh Hour. In her view, the best way to do this is start informational hearings. Get people on the record, in public.

As an example, she spoke about Michael Cohen. Seems as a thug lawyer before he spoke in public before Congress, public opinion of him turned sharply from thug to flawed person but credible witness. The opposite can also take place, with liars shown to be such.

Imagine Don McGahn speaking about "crazy shit".

Imagine Don Jr. looking like the moron he is.

Imagine Huck-Sand telling us aaaallllll about the lack of confidence the had in Comey and the "omg his own" actions of Rod Rosenstein.

This is the tactic that softened America to a Nixon impeachment. But there is so very much more here.

In my view, this can lead to impeachment or it can run out the clock. In either case, it is the proper way to get started.

We do not have tapes like Watergate to convince undecided Americans. Televised hearings and testimony under oath would be perfect Summertime watching...Watergate Redux.

… almost everything has been done in secret... the entire Mueller stuff... most every important Congressional testimony... all secret, just the way Republicans like their mischief exposed.

They've conceded the narrative to the right for over four decades. And they need to face up to the threat that is hate radio. Ignoring hate radio is why we have Americans proudly wearing tee shirts that read, "I'd rather be a Russian than a Democrat."

Why does it seem that the Republicans have a 24x7 large operation to create an promote "counter narratives" on EVERYTHING? Yet for Dems it seems ad hoc and random?

who lie under oath, there will be no real change.
Burr and Nunes leaked stuff to the WH - what is their punishment?
It's looking like these men and women see themselves as a separate class of 'friends'.
Ordinary citizens would be in prison for less.
