Let's do the work of impeachment without calling it impeachment, shall we??

Seems so simple, and we have the best of both worlds.

But hell no, people gotta moan and groan that Democrats don't officially delcare it and call it impeachment.

The problem comes when people insist on calling it what it is.

Impeach he fucker, now!

Mount the case against his ass

Make the chicken shit Republicans stand up and be counted.

That’s what is simple and doable.

Stop all this hand wringing

Nancy is not going to bring impeachment proceedings because it is not smart.

it will give the senate a chance to "prove his innocence" via a trial republicans control

We need to be thinking these things through.

Me, I would rather not give them that opportunity. Because if it happens, we risk 2020. I don't care what anyone thinks.

with impeachment. Perhaps one of those dozen investigations still active involves Pence and conspiracy. He needs to go, too, but that may not happen.

I want Trumpy to get his just desserts. So ripping him a new asshole every day of his miserable life would suit me just fine. And stripping him and his grifting family of every penny they own is what they all deserve. The risk of taking this path is that Trumpy can still weaken the nation beyond repair.

So perhaps we should just take one step at a time. We might be pleasantly surprised.

12. Worse is the Senate declares him innocent with a trial right during election season.

Wouldn't that be just grand?

Letting Republicans control the narrative summer of 2020. HELL FUCKING NO WAY!

We wouldn't have to worry about Pence pardoning him. It would never get that far.

Pelosi, et al, know what they're doing and will proceed accordingly. She's been quite clear that she intends to do this the right way and will proceed as warranted.

As for impeachment, DU doesn't represent the real world. Last poll I saw, released a couple days ago, only 67% of Dems were in favor of impeachment (and only 35-40% overall). Looking around DU, one would think it's 95%

In the end, they're not the ones making the decisions. I'm more confident in the abilities and political savvy of someone with decades of real-world experience than I am in those clamoring for immediate impeachment without preparation and without considering the ramifications.

Start off with McGann, Mueller, and Barr before the Judiciary Committee and then officially start impeachment once the fist two have told their stories and Barr has stepped on his dick

People want to make a statement, that literally is what censure is for.

AND, the House can censure without the Senate ...

Are not really here to "help", but to stir things up and divide the board, and it seems like a lot of our regular "hair on fire" crowd have joined in with them.

I agree with you we can investigate trump, have public hearings, and let the public know what is found, just like happened with Nixon. We also won't have to worry about Mitch blocking any attempt to get the Senate on record. Investigation should come first, then see what happens next.
