And landlocked enough to convict some in the Senate that Trump has to go.

We will have to see. Elizabeth Warren made a good case.

But a relentless stream of damning testimony and evidence will, I am persuaded, lead to some pointed questions being directed at Republicans in the House and the Senate. Once the media get off their chosen narrative that it's all up to Democrats (not a sure thing by any means) and they put the Republicans on the hot seat too, I think we'll see some salutary results.

Right now, I'm hearing the Republican stand-bys of what the American people want and since Mueller didn't file any criminal charges* there must not have been any criminal activity.

*Ignoring the fact that Mueller's job wasn't to bring charges but to investigate and turn over what he found to Congress. The media still haven't quite grasped that point, which is as good a place as any to start.
