Was out with my nephew on Monday......

he's 27 gainfully employed and working on his MBA. As he works at a bank & is a future MBA, I'm at times a bit worried about what his thoughts are politically. I asked him what he thought about the republicans running for president. He said he didn't know who they were, I rattled off some names and he said "I'm voting for the black guy." I yelled who? "Herman Cain", no he said "the black guy, the president, Mr. Obama."

I didn't like him referring to the president as "the black guy", but I'm thankful that he will be voting for Mr. Obama. I would also like to thank his parents, his siblings, his grandmother and grandfather for helping rear this young man.

2. Quite frankly, he doesn't sound like he has enough information to vote for anyone

I hope he knows "the black guy" will not be listed that way on the ballot.

over for dinner tonight. I told her about the conversation with brother, and she told me that he knows more than he lets on. I forgot too, that he is majority inspector at his polling place and works that twice a year, taking personal days to do so.

and he's confessed to feeling like an endangered species at every corporate job he's ever held. He's now where he wants to be, an indie with a loyal group of clients who realize he's not going to be any sleazier than he has to be to survive.

You might tell your nephew from this person living on interest and dividends that he's definitely on the right track. Republicans cost my dad every time they got in and the last 4 years of Stupid's administration certainly cost me.

Savvy investors know they can't afford any more Republicans in office. Now if only the working public would realize how much Republicans have cost them in wages, we might get the country back on track.

MBA program and what I call the new MBA, where there is an emphasis on ethics and accountability. His company is paying for most of his schooling, and when he completes it December 2012, he owes them only 1 year. There are 5 colleges in our area that offer an MBA, he chose the least expensive school as he does pay a bit toward the degree. The school he chose has a religious affiliation and there is that emphasis on ethics.

I think he will stay in the financial field, he just had a promotion and is now working in the trusts department. I will pass on to him your view point.

As an aside he walks past an OWS encampment, and knows the young man who is always present and appears to be the "leader", as they attended the same college for their undergraduate degrees.
