In the same breath he offered sympathy and then told us people were lining up for his rally from yesterday

Then started talking about people lined up all day to see him in Wisconsin and his great golf game with President Abe.
He doesn't give a flying fuck.
His rally wont be subdued. He'll continue to foment hate. It's who he is.

He's always clearly uncomfortable; sometimes his speech is robotic, sometimes he stumbles over words. His eyes are darting all over the place. The man simply can't feel sympathy, or empathy. He's the most completely self-absorbed person I've ever seen.

It's obvious someone told him he had to say something "sympathetic," but it's just as obvious that he didn't mean a word of it because he immediately pivoted to the people in line in Wisconsin and his golf game. And he added some bizarre tangential nonsense about a "deep investigation" just to sound like he gives a shit. He is seriously disordered.

Trump would have his critics executed if he could - he THRIVES on hatred, fear, ignorance.....that is who he is, that is who the people who still support him are.

...when I heard there were four victims...my immediate thought was, "thank God--*only* four victims". We've gotten so accustomed to this madness that I'm capable of feeling relief when there isn't a huge body count. I feel ashamed of that thought. *Any* victim of gun violence is one too many, and unacceptable. When are we going to regain our sanity...?
