They're "unsure" of the motivation of the synagogue shooting?

Let me posit that the shooter was tired of the fluffy matzo ball recipe because he preferred the denser variety...

Shit. He’s a killer of Jews. In their Holy Synagogue. Moreexplanation required? I think not. I think he should have a fair trial and then he should go to the gas chamber or electric chair. Sorry. But that’s my take.

And yes, it isn’t PC despite my screen name.

Thank God for radios. And remember do not give the suspect's name.

California has the death penalty (in abeyance currently, but on the books) and true life without the possibility of parole (LWOP) for murder with special circumstances (including hate crimes and terrorism); if the feds don't go after the suspect on similar charges, quite certain the San Diego County DA will ...

Ms. Stephan has almost three decades of experience, including as a SVU prosecutor; rather doubt this suspect will slip through the cracks.

A few people died.

Thinking was it was some anti-Xian person, or maybe somebody who had left and was disgruntled.

Turned out to be a personal beef. A man would be humiliated by his wife divorcing him and fail to qualify for an office, so his "rational" way of dealing with it was to barge in and kill her and anybody between her and the bullet intended for her.

People set the only Possibly True Categories before waiting for the inevitable actual truth (with a lower-case "t&quot , and forgot that they sometimes know significantly less than there is to know.

So neo-Nazi or anti-Semite of some other stripe is a possibility; that "other stripe" may be Muslim or Arab (which are, of course, two different, although overlapping categories). Or it might be somebody in another category--not the way to bet, but no need to commit over something that'll be known with fairly good certainty soon enough.

Deserves to die themselves. It’s a transcendental crime like killing a judge or your own lawyer.
