Alleged Synagogue Shooter Lives With Parents, Thinks Jews Control The World

The 19-year-old alleged gunman at a Poway, California synagogue lives with his parents and said in a manifesto that he thinks that Jews are planning to take over the world.

John Earnest also claimed that he set fire to a mosque in Escondido, California in the weeks after the shooting at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, a claim which is under investigation.

A nursing student, Earnest is on the dean’s list at California State University, San Marcos.

---snip--

He wrote in his manifesto, according to Heavy.com: “I do not care about the debt-based currency that Jews like to pretend is money. I do not care for the bread and circus that Jewry has used to attempt to pacify my people. I willingly sacrifice my future—the future of having a fulfilling job, a loving wife, and amazing kids. I sacrifice this for the sake of my people. OUR people. I would die a thousand times over to prevent the doomed fate that the Jews have planned for my race.”

He also used several anti-Semitic tropes and themes in his manifesto, including that Jews control the media and financial institutions.

” Every Jew is responsible for the meticulously planned genocide of the European race. They act as a unit, and every Jew plays his part to enslave the other races around him—whether consciously or subconsciously. Their crimes are endless. For lying and deceiving the public through their exorbitant role in news media; for using usury and banks to enslave nations in debt and control all finances for the purpose of funding evil; for their role in starting wars on a foundation of lies which have costed millions of lives throughout history,” he also wrote.

Much as I dislike Franklin Graham and his fellows, they're not suggesting anyone burn down mosques or kill Jews.
That's coming from the white nationalist subculture that whispers hate and violence to angry young men. The young men are completely responsible-- they're the ones who choose violence. But the hate is fomented in these white nationalist groups.

I don't know the answer. There have always been these angry young men, but now they're competing with each other to cause the most pain and grief.

They need to be de-radicalized, but first they need to be identified, and that's not going to happen. Trump is a clown that calls to them. He'd never do anything himself, but boy does he enjoy being their "avatar".

It actually reads very much in line with Martin Luther's later works, in particular "Of Jews and Their Lies" --- which laid out the exact plan of the Shoa (Holocaust) and was quoted by Hitler in a similar fashion. Indeed, the shooter cites Martin Luther as a reference.

So, no, this is not particularly "new". It's the same old stuff, repackaged for the 21st century.

Recurs every generation, from any given part of the political spectrum, left or right or in between. Please be aware of this. It's a disease that knows no political identity.

I posted a link to the manifesto in the Jewish Group, so people can see what we are dealing with. Kindly don't link it elsewhere.

I view it as enemy research, much like my well-read copy of Mein Kamf.

8 page letter. He really did answer a lot of the typical questions in it (his views on religion, politics, mental health, death/suicide, his family, his genealogy, and how he quickly educated himself on hate issues so that he could educate others (something he said his parents failed in teaching him as he grew up)

My bet is he feels like a failure and found someone to blame and a host of other failures to bond with.

I’d love to know what they’re saying, those others he got his reinforcement from. Is he their hero? Is shooting an eight year old and a sixty year old woman their idea of conquering?

If he wasn't a Christian it seems the press would be all over it, forcing his religious leaders to declare their religion does not promote terrorism.

The religions of white Christian terrorists get a pass. Nobody is going to imply that the religious environment this kid grew up in may have been toxic.
