Matthew Yglesias: Anyone nominated by Dems in 2020 will end up the subject of criminal investigation

initiated in the White House and approved by Barr.

I hope Democrats understand that whoever they nominate in 2020 is going to end up as the subject of a criminal investigation initiated by the White House and approved by AG Barr and FBI Director Wray.

They should trend softly and by the way, Barr won't be there . .

Just my opinion.

... correctly on these issue.

For instance, the republican impeachment process did help Clinton in the late 90s but it did ... NOT ... help democrats win anything.

Claiming the republicans won by less than they could have isn't a logical statement

Florida was stolen. With Kerry, Ohio was stolen. 2016 was stolen. Times up.

... right minds believe nothing was changed whatsoever even though the level of penetration of hacking was done to the machine level minimum with registration.

Large turnout doesn't defeat vote flipping or large amounts of provisional balloting

And any Republicans at whatever level of government will do everything they can to obstruct the will of the voters (if their will doesn't align with the objectives of our corporate overlords) and continue to steamroll over democratic processes for as long as they are able to get away with it. That's all they've got left at this point; the desperate need to keep the systemic apparatus of de facto white nationalism in power, despite their dwindling significance as a percentage of the overall population.

Those investigations were detrimental to her campaign, and comey's statement on the investigations was a major blow.

It's exactly they playbook they will use with any candidate.

to become the first female President after the first minority President. First Lady, NY Senator, Secretary of State,...President. Benghazi and emails were fraudulent attempts to derail that train they saw coming down the tracks.
