I believe the Alabama people shot themselves in the foot

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I have heard the extremist Alabama law also prohibits crossing state lines to receive abortion care.

If that happens, the line of attack that’ll work best will be on freedom to travel.

It's not very long - lots of definitions and comparisons to the holocaust, but it says very clearly that only the person (doctor) performing the abortion will be punished. It says that the woman will not be punished in any way. Since it doesn't mention anything about state lines and the woman can't be punished, I would guess she is free (ha!) to go anywhere outside of the state and Alabama has no jurisdiction to prosecute those doctors.

From the law:

Section 5. No woman upon whom an abortion is performed or attempted to be performed shall be criminally or civilly liable. Furthermore, no physician confirming the serious health risk to the child's mother shall be criminally or civilly liable for those actions.
