A couple of reasons why I think Trump is stirring the proverbial pot internationally:

1. To prove that he's doing something when he's not watching FOX News
2. To prove to himself that he's more than the president of the U.S., he has to mettle in world affairs
a. Militarily - Venezuela, North Korea, Iran
b. Economically - India, China, Mexico, Canada
3. He's almost willing himself to be the "leader" of the world because that's how he's envisioned the position of president
4. The trip to Britain - While he knows he won't get the same reception as his rallies, he's trying to form alliances with future leaders like Boris Johnson
