Britain wants the economic perks the EU-members get but without the sacrifices for a greater good that come with being an EU-member.
Non-EU Britain wants a trade-deal that will give them the same preferential treatment as if the were an EU-member, but without actually being an EU-member.
EU wants to make Brexit as painful as possible to prevent other countries from leaving as well. So EU says:
"No preferential treatment for you! Once you're out, you're out!"
Meanwhile, british politicians don't like the Brexit-plans Theresa May has negotiated.
They demand that somebody negotiate a plan with more perks.
There is no plan with more perks.
This is the EU's final offer: Do Brexit under these bad conditions right now or do Brexit under fucking horrible conditions later.
- "Sir, my hands are tied. This is the best deal I can offer you."
- "What? No! I desperately want this and I INSIST that you give me a better deal!"
- "Sir, its 5 pm, our office is closing."
- "You don't understand! We will keep negotiating and you will give me a better deal!"

"I want everything and you get nothing" in typical selfish Trumpian/GOPoop fashion. "Or else! I have the best lawyers!"
What a farce.
