(33,252 posts)you're slipping, DU.

(6,930 posts)Just calling for murder is kind of mild in these cases. Funny how you see those type comments from right wing people too.
Go figure.

(7,596 posts)You'll just have to look down on me I suppose because I really don't care what happens to this evil asshole.

(2,120 posts)They'll have to look down on me also. But I do care what gappens to him. I hope he gets thrown over a few 3 story railings.
maxsolomon
(33,252 posts)how about if he's nearly executed, revived, then executed all the way? would that be enough? or just multiple multiple-story falls?
just so we know how bloodthirsty you are.
dumbcat
(2,120 posts)after each fall he survived to recuperate as much as possible and then do it again. Maybe drop him in a different position each time so he survives as many falls as possible.
You can't even fathom how bloodthirsty I am whenever I think about what he did to that 5 year old boy. Medieval doesn't even come close.

(37,748 posts)Between throwing a kid off the railing and vendetta law, the air smells pretty much the same.

(2,120 posts)but there's a lot of different people out there, and they are not all wired up the same.

(6,930 posts)Neither am I, however I do not agree with murder in prison or in any circumstances.
BlueStater
(7,596 posts)I'm just saying I wouldn't give a shit if he was. He's not going to be a popular guy in prison, I can tell you that much. People who do horrible things to children generally never are.
Tipperary
(6,930 posts)I am assuming all those who want him (or do not care if he is) murdered are not for giving the vote to people in prison.
maxsolomon
(33,252 posts)the objection is people wishing for revenge beyond a prison sentence to be carried out by other inmates. it's not their job. it's a crime. this attempted murderer was not sentenced to 19 years plus being thrown off a 3-story balcony by another prisoner.
you should care that prison violence, such as physical assaults and sexual violence, are not visited on inmates, regardless of whether you "give a shit". it happens to prisoners who don't "deserve it", as well. it shouldn't happen to anyone.
but, you know a lot about prison, so i'm probably preaching to the choir.

(7,596 posts)After all, the vast majority of people here have never held elected office. You're basically saying that no one is in a position to talk about anything unless they've actually lived it.
No, I wouldn't care if something bad happened to this dirtbag. He did something horrifically evil to a child, which is pretty much one of the most heinous, irredeemable actions you can commit. I'm not talking about all prisoners or whatever strawman you're trying to pull. Just this one particular asswipe.

Those who make snide comments about prison rape are particularly odious.
I guess that makes them feel manly. Pro-tip: it isn't manly.

(16,076 posts)being in prison is enough, he doesn't need to be brutalized.

(13,069 posts)...But he won't attempt to murder anymore innocent children for awhile. (They do have services in prison).
maxsolomon
(33,252 posts)I was using the ironic mode.
"Services in Prison" are woefully inadequate to the task.

(13,069 posts)There is a balance between community safety and rehabilitation. In this instance, I stand with community safety. He is a repeat offender, the act was random and violent and deadly.
Perhaps we could work on improving services rather than put others at risk.
