Flexibility of the term "no legitimate legislative purpose"

The Reich Wing has thrown around the term "no legitimate legislative purpose" as one reason to deny Democratic requests for witnesses and documents. The inherent opaqueness of this term would allow SCOTUS to back Shitler now, while denying a democratic President the same deference.

There is plenty of legislative purpose behind the House investigations. Results will show the stark criminality of the GOP syndicate.
