Funny how the “both sides” theme was used several times. The comment I saw here yesterday was about Trump saying he’d rather have served in WWII...he didn’t say in which side.

Jared Kushner to #AxiosOnHBO on why he took 2016 Trump Tower meeting:

"We're in a place now where people are playing Monday morning quarterback & they're being so self-righteous...I'm running 3 companies, I'm helping run the campaign...I didn't know what the hell it was about."

If someone is getting into politics, I believe they had better know the laws pertaining to their job. At a National level, he was obligated to know when to notify the FBI about any foriegn influence.

wasn't involved in that:

Swan: Was birtherism racist?

Kushner: Um…look, I wasn’t really involved in that.

Swan: I know you weren’t. Was it racist?

Kushner: Like I said, I wasn’t involved in that.

Swan: I know you weren’t. Was it racist?

Kushner: Um, look, I know who the president is and I have not seen anything in him that is racist. So again, I was not involved in that.

...during the London Blitz -- and he said No. They stayed in Britain.

The King's teenaged daughter wanted to join the military to do her bit (and this is normal for male heirs among the Royals), but her father said No. At the age of 18, the future Queen said Yes and joined the military, where she became a mechanic.

That's who this little old lady is.

And I, for one, find that very sad. They fill a place in our world that nothing else quite reaches.

To all of the great cartoonists all over the world, thank you.

And thank YOU, JHB for bringing them to us.
