1. Boris is nearly the worst choice. He'd come in second to Beelzebub. n/t

3. There's not going to be a general election any time soon.

The Tories control Parliament and Tory MPs will select the new prime minister in the near future.

4. Labour plans to call for an immediate Confidence Motion when the new PM is named

If Johnson is sufficiently unpopular -- or the remain Tories are sufficiently disloyal -- they might lose and go to an election.

FWIW -- DUP won't support someone who's a pro-Hard Brexit leader.

5. Labour has been awfylly inept. Do you think Corbyn

has what it takes for Labour to oust the Tories? Labour opposition to Brexit has been pretty mild IMHO. Personally I don't see much to be optimistic about.

But hey I am thousands of miles away from the action and far from an expert in British politics.

6. Absolutely not, but they may be able to force an election.

2. Boris Johnson's job is to fail. His job is to be the face of the disaster he helped create

In some ways, I see it as a perfectly good outcome.
