I am NO fan of Manchin's (although thank goodness he's a Democrat even if it's in name only), but he's just doing what he's got to do for his constituents. I don't blame him for the first sentence of his tweet.

5. Manchin is a fool

Thinking he'll help them now . He may claim he will, then tell more lies what he'll do , then do nothing, other than work to take more away from them with health care, pensions, Social Security , and more. The reason he backed coal was he was probably paid with campaign contributions from super wealthy coal mining owners which he probably funneled into his pockets , and now can't go against the owners, but probably wouldn't anyway. Manchin got played and the people who voted for him got played by him too. trumps playing the farmers and auto workers , and others too.
