It is not the Russians or Chinese but Republicans who have demonstrated time and again that the have absolutely no respect for the rule of law. Over the last fifty years they have placed men in the presidency who are determined to transform the office into a virtual dictatorship. They don't care who they traffic with as long as it serves their purposes.

He said it for about a week, and then never spoke that word again

Did someone give the orange anus a 'Word for the Day' calendar? It's a great word, but it sound alien coming out of his piehole.

He's just so intent on ingratiating himself with these "strong leaders" (read: dictators) that he will say anything. But it doesn't mean anything. He wouldn't even know if the CIA was using informants unless they tell him.

Problem is, now they have another bargaining chip to use against him.

"Hello, Adolf, my good friend? I'm calling to let you know I've instructed our military and government intelligence agencies that they can't spy on you for the duration of the war. I'll tell our allies to do the same thing, or I'll stop sending them military stuff. You're welcome. Have a good time storming the castle."

He is blinding our intelligence agencies to the threats that are real, not the least of which is Putin. I hope the CIA, et al., are monitoring his unsecured frequent telephone calls with Putin. With luck, they are bugging the rooms where Trump and Putin are holding their in-person secret meetings. It's horrible to think of our country's leader as a Russian asset, but apparently that's what we've got.

And his base doesn't care. Sheesh!

Is it the spying? Maybe he meant the assassination.

Either way, whatever he said is meaningless.
