(2,268 posts)Its very sad. I think the ocean critters have it the worst, theyre being hit from all fronts: overfishing, ocean acidification, plastic pollution and warming water temperatures.
When everything and everyone has died off, eventually the planet will heal and regenerate new life.

(17,235 posts)We are currently well into the sixth mass extinction largely caused by humans. It is only a matter of time until the sixth mass extinction is complete.

(33,570 posts)we are too adaptable. But we are making the planet uninhabitable for many and the number of people and the lives they lead in the future will be vastly different.

they are so sensitive to the changes. and they are so very thoroughly changed.
they and the coral reefs are the canaries.
