4. let's just take note of this new appeal to cultism-

Trump is really narrowing in on making himself the absolute authority for his cultists. "Everything is fake unless I tell you it's real, and then it will become fake when I change my mind."

And we can see this working with his 1/3rd of the base ... They nod their heads and agree that what he said was true a minute ago is now false just because he deemed it so.

These people are unreachable. Orwell was right-- they'll go along with any contradiction of reality that spews out of Trump's mouth: "We've always been at war with Eastasia!"
Only with him, it's "We've always been in love with North Korea!"

They are unreachable. What might be more fruitful is dealing with the "Always-GOP" group which will generally vote for him because he's got the (R) beside his name. Some of them don't actually like him much, in their heart of hearts, and might be open to the suggestion that he has to lose in 2020 in order to preserve the party.

10. That Is Just Stupid

The idea that the news media is putting out polls showing Trump losing in an effort to depress voter turnout among his supporters is just stupid. Wouldn't polls showing him losing inspire his supporters to go to the polls because they would know every vote is necessary?
