General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI am sick unto death of hearing talking heads on the TV machine, commenting about the Trump
"outrage du jour", say "but that's just Trump being Trump". I'm sure I've heard comments that were more patently stupid made by pundits who were less competent, but I can't think of any right now.
Is this "Trump being Trump" nonsense supposed to be some sort of excuse for his daily eruptions of ignorant vulgarities and twitchy narcissism? Does that somehow erase the damage he does to our nation and its people?
Jeffrey Dahmer was just "being Dahmer".
Ted Bundy was just "being Bundy".
And, yes, ol' Adolph was just "being Adolph".
So, spare me the "Trump's just bein' Trump" crap unless you're willing to publicly excuse those three and others like them.

they are all making tons of money.
the cable channels.
the talking heads/pundits/contributors (some of them get paid, some don't) but they are still getting publicity and recognition.
The advertisers.
Pretty impossible to call CNN or MSNBC and tell them we are fed up with their non stop coverage of tRump. The MSM on the most part sucks - and are to blame.
So I think it's ALL ABOUT THE MONEY.
