What in the hell is going on with Flynn? I do not get it.

First of all I am very happy the House subpoenaed Flynn and Gates. That's good news, things are picking up.

Why is Trump praising Flynn? Why did Flynn get a new lawyer? Why didn't Mueller nail Flynn to the wall and why did the judge step in at Flynn's sentencing. It seemed like the judge did not agree with Mueller on his recommendation. Flynn and Gates are still cooperating? Cooperating with what?

There is some very weird shit happening with Flynn.

what Mueller and the FBI did - questioning the legality of their actions to help distract or cover up what Trump actually did - which appears to be what Flynn is trying to do with this new lawyer, Trump can reward him with a pardon.

That is what it smells like to me

He's going to say he was tricked/entrapped into testifying against Donny Dollhands in hopes of getting a pardon

yakker on Faux. They'll use her for the next 90 days to condition all the Faux zombies that Flynn is the innocent victim of the FBI "Deep State Conspiracy". Then, when the pump is primed, Dumpy will Pardon the "war hero" Flynn, giving the Judge the middle finger in the process.

He does not feel he is going to get the good deal he once thought possible.

He's screwing up again.

Seems like he's been talking with the Feds for a long time now. If they already have the goods, what's his leverage?

Flynn got scared after what the judge said and he figures his last and best hope is that pardon.

So much for patriotism (as if his behavior during the campaign and election weren't proof enough).

Flynn saw that the Mueller Report was not going to take Trump down, and he's damned if he's going to be the fall guy here. He will withdraw his plea deal, then Trump will pardon him.

Russia fatigue has settled in, and while our side will pitch a fit, it won't matter to the mushy middle that has frankly been overwhelmed with news about Trump's corruption. Of course, the Trumpsters and deplorables will cheer this on, precisely because it enrages us, they no longer care about the rule of law anymore, just about pissing off our side.

on a pardon cajoled out of Dear Leader by her. In the meantime, it's going to be amusing to see Judge Sullivan's reaction to this weird turn of events. Flynn might as well wear a neon sign that says "no remorse."

I don't think he trusts that judge to let him off without some prison time.
