General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsThe media should stop quoting Kellyanne Conway, because that would be conspiracy
to break the Hatch Act. It seems fairly simple - when a government office has determined that a government official is breaking the law, no one should be trying to help her do that by broadcasting or writing anything she says. She shouldn't be in her job, and every time they repeat what she says, or give her airtime, they are abetting her.
OK, FoxPravda will continue using her. But the proper media should just say they're ignoring her from now on.

(17,982 posts)Jake Tapper actually told her to quit lying on his show. I do not think she has ben back.
I would love to hear the private conversation with her husband. He exposed Trump long ago.

(5,106 posts)Is she in that job for the money and exposure while hubby paves the way for a soft landing when Trump goes down? In the P.R. business her effectiveness will count more than who she was representing.

(17,982 posts)Mika and Joe were thrilled to have Trump on every day, helped him get elected until he exposed Mikas face liftand their affair.
Not to mention Joe being in the front line to impeach Clinton. Do not forget they are liars, too. Really bad ones.

(63,901 posts)with that. Plus, my guess is that they were intrigued by Trump, not realizing that he could actually win. So they had him on again and again.
I think Mika's reaction to Kellyanne lying was a try to repair their reputation. They knew then that their staying power was in having more of the players in the election come on their show, thereby ensuring that their ratings would go up.
Their surprise "engagement" was no surprise, really. And everyone on their show, guests included, knew what was going on for a long time. They just played along...
So I share your cynicism. It is well founded!

Mika simpering about how they played on Trump Golf Courses and were invited to visit MarA Lego!
Trump threatened to expose them on the Enquirer and made fun of Mika bleeding from her face tuck? She said on the show that she had not wanted that to be public, then she and Joe got married right away.
Oh, no, Mika, you are not one to complain about Kelly Anne lying. You do it all the time.

(63,901 posts)My question is why do we care whether she had a face lift or not? I like to see their guests who are usually anti Trump. The few repubs I either mute or leave the room. I think Mika and Joe have taken the temperature of the viewers and know that they feel Trump is a disaster. All except a few verklempt repubs.

(17,982 posts)They have switched sides. I will never forgive Joe for being in the front lines of the Clinton impeachment, then much like Gingrich, Joe got a divorce and abruptly left Congress. Been married twice since then.
Lord, I had no idea my memory was so sharp!

(63,901 posts)She does have a lot of nerve, I gotta hand it to her.
I hope they lock her up.

(17,982 posts)I also remember Kelly Anne despising Trump before she came to work for him. She would sell her soul to the Company Store to get ahead.
I really do not understand her husband, George though.

(11,014 posts)That includes little 10 second blurbs of her still on the job.
It needs to be 'Kellyann, who?' from now on.

(10,146 posts)She'll spend the first 10 seconds gaslighting on that topic, then launch into a series of vitriolic attacks on the Democrats, once again violating the Hatch Act. Kellyanne lives in an irony-free zone.

(6,679 posts)They need to stop covering him. People need to stop reposting or responding to his tweets.
It won't happen. It is asking a lot of the citizens and news media to just ignore the SOB. Actually, it goes for anyone connected to him or his criminal enterprise. Report ABOUT them, but in their own words is aiding and abetting.
George's interview will be a media ratings bonanza for ABC, but it also helps broadcast the propaganda coming out of Redacted's pie hole to his faithful.
