The nationalist doesn't REALLY love his country, he loves that people think he loves it

It's a show and nationalists get off of on it in more ways than one. It's almost gone literal with Trump actually molesting a flag.

I believe my country is adaptable and organic. The nationalist doesn't, they believe their country is or should be frozen in time, a physical memory, a simulation. Not real.

You see this in everything they say...

"We have the greatest healthcare system in the world, but it will CRASH if we let toddlers with runny noses in!"

"We have the greatest economy in the world... but if I am not reelected, then the whole economy will tank!"

You know what I think? We already know that conservatives have a lot of sexual issues... them shifting to Trump-ism AKA nationalism is just another one, a bigger one, but now it's collectivist rather than having individual sexual issues.

and should dominate all other nations. A patriot is devoted to his country and its people, but does not have to be a nationalist.
