Trump argued with Stephanopolous over whether the Mueller Report said "no collusion".

He insisted that it did. Stephanopolous asked him if he had read it? He said that he had read it and that Stepanopolous should read it, also. What person in America believes that?

Stephanopolous responded that the Mueller Report never said "no collusion". Trump continued to insist that it said "no collusion" and "no obstruction". Of course, it never said either one.

But, shouldn't this be a bigger story? When the leader of this country believes that an important document, such as the Mueller Report, says something that it does not say? And reports it as fact to his followers?

This could be a lead story on all the networks. "Trump Falsely Believes Mueller Report Said No Collusion".

It should not be permitted to stand.

Follow up, reporters! "So if you read this report, can you tell us what it said about your son's contacts with Vesilneskaya?"

That is the only place that stated openly, "no collusion" and "no obstruction". Sad! We have a president who cannot/ does not read!

"Surly such absolute proof of your vindication would grab your attention enough that you would note what page that was on. So, what page is that on?"

Or something like that.

The world of facts or truth have no relevance to the president at all. You just sling BS, bluster and lie until you have bullied your way on through .. and then you don't take any follow up calls (or meetings). It's his M.O. and anybody that is in contact with him has to deal with it. I think Stephanopolous probably goes with the theory that the interview speaks for itself. The president is going to lie, it's his nature, and it's your job to get it on record. What a person believes when they are so entrenched in deceit is like chasing a will-of-the-whisp.

So much so that he could probably pass a polygraph test. Yes, I think he's actually nuts and should be removed from office with the 25th Amendment.

Had a relative like that and it was a down-right spooky thing to watch.

if only the Mueller report was open to public scrutiny, like the Starr report was. Fat chance. Taxpayers paid for it, it should be shown to them. Taxpayers will also be paying all the unpaid bills this administration is building up. Starting with the inauguration, then all the golf trips, all the trips the "kids" take - free. How much did the family vacation in the UK add up to? We already know the two day rental for 4 luxury SUV's was just less than ONE MILLION $$$. That ill fitting monkey suit tRump wore to dine with the royals must have cost a pretty penny(!) So much material had to be used. Impeachment had better start soon, before the country has to declare bankruptcy.

Keep the 'argument' going as long as it suits their purpose. Continuing the argument stifles support of the follow up investigations.

The media is finally, at long last, getting the idea that the Mueller report in fact says (without using the non-legalese term "collusion" ) that team Trump colluded. The media went off half-cocked initially and gave Trump an unearned point on his "no collusion" tweetaganda. Now they are finally reviewing that play. Finally.
