(54,770 posts)I do not understand why Mueller did not bother to interview three people closest to the Trump campaign and with numerous contacts with Russians throughout the campaign and even after the election. Don, Jr., Jared, and Ivankaespecially Jr. and Jaredwere the liaisons with Russians in the Trump Tower meeting, yet they were never interviewed about it or anything else.
I dont see how Mueller could have done a thorough job by failing to get information from these three. And if he let them slide for whatever reason, what else was just dismissed? I remember seeing some news report that the three were unaware that what they were doing was wrong or potentially illegal so they should not be held accountable (since when is ignorance of a crime a defense), but doesnt the FBI brief all presidential candidates even before one is chosen at a convention? I could not find any information on this, so perhaps the briefings happen after the candidate is chosen.

(54,770 posts)meeting, and similar planning sessions, because they were too stupid to possess the needed "intent" to violate the law, and the financial wizard Mueller couldn't put a value on anything the Ruskies were offering. What a load. Mueller must have worked months on that junk.
