Trumpster: "Quit trying to make us feel teary-eyed for the children. Yes, I love children...but..."

What some Trump supporters think of family separations at the border:

"To be perfectly honest, I'm angry at the parents," she said. "I feel very honestly that it's their fault that the children have been separated, because they're bringing them in illegally. And the other thing is, the law that has been put on the books was not put on recently. It was put on back many years ago, and I think very seriously that they need very firmly to say enough is enough."

She faulted the media for using children to play on people's emotions.

"I think people need to stop constantly bringing up the poor children, the poor children. The parents are the problems. They're the ones coming in illegally," she said. "Quit trying to make us feel teary-eyed for the children. Yes, I love children a great deal, but to me, it's up to the parents to do things rightfully and legally."

The law that allows separation and suffering to happen to children.......that's cool, its someone else's fault.

Ah the moral consistency and rectitude of modern American conservative.

It's why I can't even stand to read comment threads for articles about this.

They don't even have any original thoughts in their heads.

They say the exact same thing about children in school who need food assistance or those who need any help - blame the parents, saying stupid shit like the parents shouldn't be poor or shouldn't do drugs or shouldn't whatever. If the kids suffer, oh well.

They act as if they couldn't help ease the suffering but they know they could, so they tell themselves it's not their fault the kids are suffering because they claim the parents made poor choices - so it's all on their parents, no matter what happens to the children.

Even though they could help the kids and the parents the truth is - those pieces of shit simply don't want to help.

But since they know that makes them look bad, they go through their cock and bull rationalization about loving kids but gee, it's all the fault of the parents.

On comment threads etc.

These idiots have no ideas of their own, just words that have been shoved into their heads by think tanks.

The cruelty and hatred is all their own, though.

I'm beyond disgusted with this country.
