It's time to put out a call to other countries out there to help us provide goods for detained kids

Maybe our country simply lacks the resources, infrastructure, and personnel to provide blankets, clothes, diapers, etc. and that is why detained children are lacking these things, yes?

For a week, let's assume this is the case and so we get out there and say to the other countries of the world, "Hey, our government lacks the capital, resources, and skills to provide basic amenities to detained children. It is simply not strong enough to run these concentrat- detention centers humanely or efficiently. Can you help us out?"

Let's see what happens.

I can't tell if you're being serious, but lack of resources is not the problem. WhiskeyGrinder Jun 2019 #5

and Trump will find money for them.

We need International groups to condemn Trump's concentration camps. We need the U.N. to call for a stop to Trump's inhumane treatment of asylum seekers.

I have been a member of the ACLU for 2 years now, they are leading the fight for the kids at the border. If people want to help those kids, send the ACLU a donation, whatever you can afford, you will become a card carrying member.

Human Rights Commission. There are specific qualifications for doing so and it sounds like they have met them. Children are being neglected and abused in our names and it has to stop. Trump should be impeached on this alone.

more can be done. Republicans are covering up for Trump's crimes against humanity.

I fear that impeachment isn't going to happen and that pisses me off. Now we are going to have to wait until after July 17th, and that is all well and good. Mueller testifying can be a game changer, if he gets to testify.

If I were Schiff or Nadler I would subpoena Andrew Weissman. Mueller isn't a polished public speaker, he will be believable and effective, but Weissman will give it right back to those asshole Freedumb caucus members.

Once Trump officially goes against a federal court order, many more representatives will jump on the bandwagon, I believe. I hope.

The International Criminal Court? These children must be freed and their abusers strictly punished.

It's a way of saying this shouldn't be happening, especially in the United States.

I want to create doubt in the strength of authorities, doubt in the legitimacy of right wing authoritarians... and I think a way to do that is foster a belief that when the weakest and powerless among us are suffering, it's because the government is not strong enough to heal that suffering.

The cruelty seems to be intentional.
