Just saw my 1st Paris "yellow vest" protest on the Champs Elysees in Paris

Apparently they are very upset with a location of the fast food restaurant Five Guys burgers and Fries it was noon and there were about a dozen people holding a banner across the entrance of the restaurant. They were shouting and blowing loud whistles and horns to dissuade people from entering. It works, plus I'll never cross a picket line anywhoo.

They started pushing and shoving people who were just walking by. Someone with a whistle jumped in my 8 year old daughter's face. They stopped when I put all 6'6" of myself between my daughter and then.

Needless to say we got out of their and ate a place that had not incurred their wrath.

FWIW, the McDonalds across the Champs was in molested by the mob.

I'm taking the Eurostar to London tomorrow morning and I can't wait. It's going to be 20 degrees cooler there next week.

Doesn't matter if it's France with the Yellow Vests, England with Brexit supporters, the US with the deplorables. They all exhibit the same boorish behavior. Probably all cherry picked by Putin and his IRA.

The line at the Louvre was more than an hour long and there's no shade in the que. we just passed right by on the bus tour and said "next time".

Heading to the UK 🇬🇧 tomorrow where it will be 20 degrees cooler next week. Can't wait to ride the Eurostar through the Chunnel.

Glad to be away from the city...especially if the USA women's team wins tonight.
