Chris Christie on Chuck Todd: 'The most pretentious know-it-all on network news'

Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) on Thursday called NBC and MSNBC host Chuck Todd "the most pretentious know-it-all on network news" and "a complete ass."

Christie, who serves as an ABC contributor, shared his perspective on Todd during an appearance on a rare live edition of CBS's "Late Show" with host Stephen Colbert.

The program aired live just after Thursday night's Democratic debate from Miami.

"Please God, can we say goodbye to Chuck Todd?” Christie asked.

It is what many people are thinking.

During the debates he tried to keep Maddow in the background...I laughed when he said "I need to take a commercial break right now"..."I need", as he is the one controlling the shots...

during the election, Christie was never working in the interests of the American people. Even after getting shot down for the VP nomination, he worked to install the Orange Menace, and unfortunately, was successful in his efforts.

Just because he says something nasty about UpChuck Todd doesn't make him any better of a person.

Thus man is such a fool that he was the first of the main morons to endorse a stupid racist for the Presidency, the only such person to exceed James Buchanan in pure incompetence.

Getting RID of Chuck Todd.

Chuck “it’s not my job to fact-check my guests” Todd.

Mr. “I put one side on and let them say their piece and then I put the other side on and let them say their piece. And voila! That’s all it takes! I’ve done my job!”

To which I say “Bull-fucking-shit!”

I’d END his run on “Meet the Press.” Smug schmuck has no business captaining that show. Not even the weekday version. Every day he’s on there as host, he proves yet again that he doesn’t deserve it. Soooooooo many alternatives! Rachel Maddow comes to mind. So does Katy Tur. I might even try to steal Jake Tapper.

Chuck Todd is auditioning for a job on Fox. I used to watch Meet the press once in a while, not any more since they changed it to Meet the Republicans.

Chuck Todd comes across like the pseudo-intellectual, pretentious asshole we all know or have experienced in our lives who presents themselves as an expert on a topic with absolutely nothing to back up their claims and who, despite their ego, they inevitably show how ignorant they truly are. That's Chuck Todd.

Plus, it doesn't help that the moron chooses, repeatedly to pander to all GOP guests and manage them with kids gloves.

It's a terrible speaking technique, for someone who's supposedly in the information industry you'd think he would realize this. I have to turn on closed captions when he's speaking.

Stephen Colbert - Guest Gov. Chris Christie: "Joe Biden Has Room To Have A Tough Night"

The former New Jersey Governor thinks Sen. Kamala Harris won night two of the Democratic debate by going on the offense against Joe Biden, but he also says that the former Vice President is unlikely to lose ground after one bad debate.

Gov. Chris Christie On Trump's Biggest Debate Weakness

Former Governor Chris Christie believes Trump's weakness is that he will get baited by opponents in debates by "swinging at every pitch."
