Public Corruption Division in NY is prosecuting Epstein's case. Why?

Epstein is a private citizen. It tells me that there's a lot more to come, with possibly high up public officials implicated. Especially if Epstein talks.

They must already know some nasty stuff connected to some high level people. Or they wouldn't have put this in the Public Corruption Division in the first place.
