Well, I just got an email from my Senator, Tom Cotton, begging for money.

I answered him saying that every time he hits me up for a donation, I'm going to make a donation to a Democratic candidate. This time I made a donation to Amy McGrath who is challenging Mitch McConnell.

I assume that someone monitors that email account. I wonder how long before they drop me from their list.

20. A great idea, but honestly, what a throwback to see a check!

Where I live now, people haven't used checkbooks for decades (they were phased out here in the 80s and 90s) and most people 35 and under would boggle at seeing a check, much like today's teenagers wouldn't know what to do with a floppydisk.

Using a check does make for a great statement in this case, though.

Confederate banknotes, both real and copies, are available for ten cents or less for the most common ones. Every solicitation for contribution from right wing organizations or candidates should should be answered with a worthless Confederate bill.

THAT might get a message across if several people did it.
