Will Bob Mueller Be Under Oath?.....

This thought just occurred to me now. I didn't listen to the cable news shows today. I was away from the TV so I don't know if anyone addressed this.

I'm thinking I would prefer Mueller be placed under oath for the very reason - I don't want Trump to claim that Mueller was lying during his testimony. If Mueller is placed under oath at least we would have a retort to Trump - saying that a man of his character wouldn't lie in the first place and besides he was under oath.

From all that we have been told and the 88 other appearance before Congress, it would be totally unwise for Mueller NOT to be under oath.

As of last night, his aide will also be under oath as a witness during the Intell Cmte hearing, but only appear as "counsel" to Mueller, not under oath and not answering questions during the Judiciary Cmte hearing.

Perjury oath is pointless since lying to Congress also can get five year sentence.

6. Trump is already claiming he lied.

Paths don’t matter when one uses Trump tactics. In fact, Trump will muddy the waters more. He will ask to have Mueller investigated for lying under oath. When that doesn’t happen he will say it’s proof that they are all out to get him.
