Bachmann: Vote for Romney because Obama is ‘extremely wealthy’

Former Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann is encouraging voters to support Mitt Romney because President Barack Obama is “extremely wealthy” and can’t relate to the “common man.”

USA Today caught up with Bachmann at the Republican National Convention earlier this week and asked her how someone with “vast wealth” like Romney could “connect with the American public, really understand what the plight of the American public?”

“Well, President Obama is extremely wealthy,” Bachmann replied. “He and his wife have been wealthy for a number of years, and so I think that’s really the issue. Obama is wealthy, what do, or — what does he understand about the common man right now?”

“And I think what people care about is not hating someone for what their assets are — the American people don’t hate President Obama because he’s a very wealthy individual,” she added.

“What they care about is how their lives are, would their lives be better? And I think it’s very clear under the Romney-Ryan ticket the average Americans’ lives will be much better, they’ll have a lot more money to spend in the way that they want, and they’ll also have a much more secure future for their children.”

She has $3 million (some sources say 1.1 million); he has $11 million. But he made his money by working for it (writing books).

and she lists the clinics at $500,000 each
I have to believe the clinics are worth a lot more than that if he went to sell them

I mean seriously, no one is this stupid. No seriously, if anyone was this stupid they would be in a home under constant care and on a soft food diet. It just isn't possible to be this stupid and be a functioning adult. Well unless you are like one of those functioning zombies. But, not possible for a human. This is just bat shit crazy and stupid. There isn't anything to compare this to. I would like to compare it to something, just to get an understanding of it, but there isn't anything. Perhaps a translator will come along. Or, someone will admit this is a joke.

that is surrounded by razor wire, where the walls are soft and the nuts hunt the squirrels. And she should be administered a horse-sized suppository of Thorazine every four hours.

except I am not joking. I really think she is very deranged. She is also dangerous. Her mouth could get people killed. There is no bat shit crazy theory that she isn't willing to float and that could put people in jeopardy.

I've seen and heard her shenanigans here in Minnesota for going on a decade. She is delusional and I am reasonably sure she fits into some diagnostic criteria for a severe mental disorder. Hearing voices - which she readily admits to - is a leading indicator of schizophrenia. Listening to them makes it pretty much a lead-pipe lock.

and she realized that the immediate followup was going to be "whuuu, wait - Romney is like 1000x (literally) as wealthy as Obama, and he was born that way, so he must be far more out of touch!"

something falls out that's more overwhelmingly stupid than you ever could have imagined. And each new industrial-strength stupid thing is even more stupid than the last incredibly stupid thing she said. It's almost like she tries to be the stupidest politician ever to say something stupid in public.

The Obamas are not "extremely wealthy." They are pretty well-off because he wrote three books that hit the best-seller list, and that financial success has been quite recent (and allowed them finally to pay off their student loans, which I doubt Mittens ever had to worry about). Neither of them grew up wealthy like Mittens. He's more or less in the same league financially as a successful lawyer or doctor. Yes, he would qualify as a member of the 1% - something he's always freely admitted - but he's not in Mittens' league, not by a long shot. His net worth is said to be about $11 million - pretty good coin, but not like the Romney fortune of $200 million (that we know of).

Maybe La Bachmann is jealous: She's worth only $3 million. But money can't cure stupid.

I don't know, but she's definitely in the finals.

Hey dee-doo, Willard is worth a minimum of $250 million (and likely a couple of times that) nearly every nickel of which he stole, and Obama is worth $10-15 million, mostly from book royalties. So you can't do math, either. This woman is an embarrassment to the entire planet.
