Having a documented history of the failures of the investigations into the fraud that is Brett will help down the road.
Now, they need to do the same thing for fraudster Thomas.

The FBI has had so many fuck-ups it can only mean that their perspective, their mission and their process is tainted. Time to revamp it and bring it into the 21st Century.

I like the comment above about arranging "plausible deniability" by aborting a full procedure.
So much corruption. This is another taste of ancient Rome under Calligula.
Williamson was correct to use the phrase "dark psychic forces" in describing the Republican corruption culture (RCC?).
