2. This happens every year.
July and August are the peak demand months, and in late August-early September the demand starts to fall off and the prices drop. Additionally, the refiners stop making summer-grade fuel, which has additives that are more expensive than those in winter-grade fuel. 4. Few cents in TX.
Our prices didn't rise as much in the early summer as in some places, and so it drops less in the fall.
We don't have much of a boutique blend for our summer gas. (Then again, I'm not sure how long it takes you to wee. ![]() |
