CNN or MSNBC should hold GOP Pres debates.

4 states, so far, have cancelled their GOP primaries so that Trump won’t be embarrassed.
I think that some cable network should invite all 4 Republicans to a debate and then have an empty podium for Trump next to Weld, Walsh, and Sanford.

in unison for a couple of hours in prime time.

Why can't Fox invite the announced Repug candidates to appear on their network, if not in a debate, then in some other kind of format.

I'd especially like to see Weld, Walsh and Sanford make guest appearances on Fox and Friends

As far as I know, Trump isn't part of the ownership or management of Fox News, so he should have no say in what they do or don't do.

Also, since Fox is the favorite channel of most of the Repug voters, it's the most logical choice for giving air time for Repug candidates to present their views.

You said that Trump would never allow it. But if he tried to prevent it, it would be a violation of the first amendment of the constitution.

Trump is part of the U.S. government, and Fox is a private company. As i said, if Trump tried to interfere in Fox News choices of programming, he would be violating the first amendment of the constitution. It's very clear-cut.

Yes, Weld, Walsh and Sanford would attack Trump during the debate. But they wouldn't be attacking his policies. In fact, they would almost certainly be framing their attacks on Trump in terms of the need for Repubs to nominate someone who can defeat the Democrats and prevent them from imposing on America their evil policies "eek Socialism!!". In short, the GOP nominees debate is unlikely to do us any favors.

It won't matter to Democrats. And Trump's base won't bother. My point is that if anyone who is on the fence watches, they will hear plenty of attacks on Democrats and Democratic policies.
