Facebook - you don't have to see your GOPer fb friends posts. Here is what you do if you don't want

to unfriend them.

I have one of those nephews on my ex's side ....
Care about his kids, care about him but HATE his politics....

Here's what you do-
-Go to their home page.
-On the top where it says Friends with a check mark- click on that.
-You will get a drop down box. there will be a checkmark next to 'show in newsfeed'
-Click on that check mark, and it will disappear.

Viola! You can still be their facebook friend and not have to read their bs anymore

Believe me, it makes going onto facebook much more enjoyable. My nephew used to get my blood boiling.
No more!!

I always hope that something I post will at least put some doubt in their heads. n/t woodsprite Aug 2012 #1

. . . and customize who can see your feed. You can select, for example, "Friiends," and then you can add exceptions from among those friends. You will remain their FB friend, but they won't see your updates, posts, etc.

While you can keep them from seeing your posts, everyone who is friends with you can still see what you like and comment on in their timeline (the scrolling area of your friends activity on the right). No way to stop that from showing up.

I have a group of people I put in no politics so they don't see what I post if its politics related. They STILL see my likes, comments, etc on other peoples pages. It drives me nuts.
