Did a canvas for McCaskill this week.

I haven't seen the data yet so I can't report the results. But my small portion of it was interesting. Most of the people we canvassed weren't home. Of the ones we talked to, there was not overwhelming support for Claire. You'd think with Akin's stupid comments and the attempts by the GOP to force him to step down, Claire would be way ahead. But we talked to quite a few people who are undecided. A couple were solid for Akin and a few more were solid for Claire. One guy said he's definitely voting for Claire, but he's also sure Obama is a Muslim.

It just blows my mind. I wanted to ask these undecideds if they had a daughter or a wife.

We have a lot of work to do between now and November. If you can help, do some canvassing. All of our Democrats are going to need help, especially in purple states like Missouri.

I really don't understand how anyone with a wife, daughter, sister, mother or woman friend could still conciser voting for Todd Akin.
Any of them could die because of him, from being prevented from getting necessary medical care.

I did a weblog for a little while recording sexual assaults by priests, ministers, and pastors, as reported by news items in NEWS.GOOGLE.COM news aggregator. I mapped the incidents using google maps.

90% of the sexual assaults were in red states/red counties, Sarah Palin voter territory.

these are undecided or is a heavily democratic area, that kind of thing. Your results would be horrid if these are supposed to be Democrats but decent if they are supposed to be undecided.
