Is Pelosi doing the right thing? Perhaps it is simple to understand.

1. Strongly worded warning
2. More strongly worded warning
3. Action on impeachment..
4. Vote on impeachment..
_______________________________________________________

Make sure everyone knows about number 1 and 2. then 3 and if necessary 4. Two paragraphs below are my opinion. I have no proof at all, as Sgt Schultz say, "I know nothing"...But I do believe Nancy and Adam are getting help on what to do, from the... very best minds around. (3 more short paragraphs )

..Yes, I would like it all done now, but that is not possible. Adam has come out with a strong statement, and now Nancy. If the above takes a couple of months. Well?? Give the other side a chance because this is extremely serious. Yes, I want it done now. But, Nancy is not working alone. I believe Nancy is getting the best help possible from the best around. The absolute best.!!!

... Oh, you don't know about it? Well it ain't public information. Just for a moment who are the ...absolute best minds around? Well you think about it. Democrats have "the best." The "best" are smart, loyal, experienced far beyond what people think, and they will help when necessary. One of "the best" has a wife who is also "the best". And that lady is indeed far better than Mr. Trump.

... Just because our "very best" are not on the public scene with Adam and Nancy in this very serious public argument, doesn't mean they are not being consulted to get through this mess. Our "best" will be there and are there behind the scenes ...in my opinion. Oh, one more idea..."Our very best".....have been through living hell and and know what to do. They are there to help win this ugly battle with Trump. And they are the "very best" living experienced people around..

7. Interesting quote from Pelosi
Sun Sep 22, 2019, 09:32 PM
Sep 2019

She said this shortly before the ACA vote - after more than a year of hearings, drafting and marking up legislation, negotiation, town hall meetings, etc. and she was working hand-in-hand with the President of the United States, HHS and the rest of the executive branch to carry out the President's top priority.

She didn't start out in January of 2009 insisting and demanding and forcing her entire caucus to support Obamacare as is. Instead, she spent the next year allowing her Members to find their way to the right vote.

And when she got to that point, THAT's when the whip operation went into di force and that's when she pulled out all the stopa. At that point, she wasn't trying to convince a hundred or so Members of her caucus to change their minds and go against what their constituents wanted. She and the White House and their teams were trying to push and pull the last few Members over the finish line.

This is not comparable in any way.

A better comparison would be if, after the hearings, a recommendation of Articles of Impeachment was referred to the floor and she was close to 218 but a few votes short. That would be the time to start cracking heads, as she did in the home stretch of the ACA passage.

and other members of the House Democratic caucus where the Speaker of the House stands on this.

But I'm still waiting for someone to explain why, if just a word from Pelosi could sway 100 numbers to vote the way she tells them but she's opposed to impeachment, the House Judiciary Committee is moving forward with an impeachment inquiry and hearings over her objections.

Either she's not as all powerful as some of you seem to think or she's not opposed to impeachment. You can't have it both ways

But, I think there is a limit to her patience.

she isn't going to hold a vote unless she knows it will pass.

many flipped district members were reluctant to support her and many ran for office saying they would support someone else for speaker.

so her pushing them on it publicly will have the opposite effect.

they need their constituents to push them on it . their constituents need to support it.

it heads to the Senate where Moscow Mitch would deal with it and I guarantee you he would make sure it would not get enough support to convict Trump.
Then after that the Repugnant spin machine would kick in and by the time the elections are here the whole impeachment thing will not have nearly as big a negative impact on the Repugnants as we need it to have.

Which the Russo-Republicans will steal. Again. And nothing will be done about it. Again. The Constitution will be amended to allow a Trump dynasty. The Earth will become the biggest cinder the earth has ever known.
