The whole point of this is a shout out to centrists of both parties, oh hey look it’s not just the Uber liberal anymore- these moderates with lifetime backgrounds in national service have sounded the alarm.

Like it or not, a moderated voice reaches far further than a liberals when you’re trying to get both the right and left to listen.
