Part of the clip has him going into his living room upset about something and then trashing/throwing around the furniture. No way someone can watch that clip and not have his RNC disaster come to mind. They show a younger guy walk in and ask about the mess, the camera pans over to the furniture, Eastwood stumbles over the words/mumbles about the piled up/destroyed furniture being about "feng shui"....
Hopefully who ever is in charge of what is shown as a preview is not a repuke, because if he/she is, I imagine they will be (cough) editing the preview snippit ASAP!

(31,011 posts)His character has failing eyesight...not a failing brain like what we saw on stage at the RNC.

(296,867 posts)I've been to the movie theater in years. And, there he was.. I couldn't say anything because the woman who drove us there was loving it and the Sly Stallone trailer we saw..gushing how they saw a movie last week with Sly and chuck norris.. "still such good looking men".. GAG!
Anyway, I sat there with my mouth shut and then along came Meryl Streep and Tommy Lee Jones in "Hope Springs". And, they played Al Green's "Let's Stay Together" during a scene that I was Loving!
On one of those Eastwood threads Thursday night.. a poster said she had envision Meryl Streep watching Clint at the rnc..I said, "I'd like to be a spider on that wall!"

(9,974 posts)and noticed no one else in the (half full) theater made a peep..then I remembered, oh, yeah, I live in the reddest of red counties and most likely the majority of the audience wanted to fast forward thru that part of the preview or wanted to ignore the furniture flashback to his RNC appearance!
