the senders of HRC emails after retroactively de-classifying them... and the United States Department of State has done it! What makes us think that he can't order the FBI or the Federal Marshalls to arrest Adam Schiff?
I know, I've gone off the deep end into full blown paranoia but.....

(11,846 posts)As far as Hillary's emails go... Article 1, Section 9 f the constitution stated that" No bill of attainder or ex post facto law shall be passed." Meaning ... it is Unconstitutional to make any act retroactively illegal after the fact.

(12,712 posts)Keep in mind who you are hearing and how he does things. That is most important.
Trump is going to toss whatever he possibly can now and it is bordering on delusional and the manipulation is obvious. I call it going for the "lizard brain". This is all about evoking reactions and fear, as we have seen.
Remember that we are fighting for and with facts, law and justice, not beliefs, hearsay, agitprop, etc. Trump's fantasy land is the real problem. If he were somebody on the street yelling at the other side of it, then it might not matter much in this case, but he is a festering bag of malignancy infecting a cherished institution and putting our country in grievous danger. That's really the most important point, not his Mad Hatter machinations.
Manipulators are gonna' manipulate, so get your shield on.

(16,616 posts)admit how bad things are getting. And generally, Bloomberg tries to find the silver lining in everything. They shoot for political neutrality, but the guests and some hosts are finding ways to circumvent that rule and call it what it is. They talk about "the tweets" without naming the tweeter and talk about "incompetent negotiations" without naming the negotiator.

(761 posts)Preparing for the worst is the only way to deal with the actions presented by Trump. He is breaking laws daily with threats and intimidation. I heard a mitigating rationalization on one of the talk shows this weekend:
Thats just the way he talks.
I had described in 2015 when he first declared candidacy his dictatorial charisma.
