The "Empty Chair"(Clint Eastwood in Tampa)

Last edited Sun Sep 2, 2012, 09:35 AM - Edit history (1)

The "empty chair" will be my seat at any Eastwood movie in the future. I won't need it, because I won't be there!

Something strange about the timing...the day after Clot's big appearance at the repub convention, I start seeing new ads on TV about the latest Cult Eastwood movie due out soon. Was his showing up and making an ass of himself in Tampa a PR trick to push the movie? If so I don't think Rowdy Yates pulled it off.

Obama, a 'huge' Clint Eastwood fan, not offended by skit

snip..

"He is a great actor, and an even better director," the president said in an interview with USA TODAY aboard Air Force One, on his way to campaign rallies in Iowa Saturday. "I think the last few movies that he's made have been terrific."
--snip==.
Was he offended?

"One thing about being president or running for president — if you're easily offended, you should probably choose another profession." Obama said with a smile. He said there would be no effort to counter with a similar stunt at the Democratic National Convention, which opens in Charlotte Tuesday.

"I think we'll be playing this pretty straight," he said

I don't watch Moses Heston, Reagan or Eastwood anymore. I don't listen to Rat Boone, Hank Jr., Kid Rock, Clint Black or Travis Tritt either. I try not to buy anything being sold by a republican. They can all kiss my ass.

and I'll ignore the Republican politics of any person who will do business with a Democrat. If they are stinkers about who they mingle and do business with, I'll extend them the same courtesy. However, if they won't do business with Democrats, then I won't do business with them.

In it may have sat the many secret donors that the Supreme Court has allowed to supersede the "Will of the People" with the court's Citizens United ruling.

Probably many of those invisible donors in the chair, are from countries all across the globe. Now the "Will of the People" is in the hands of outsiders who seek to undermine or weaken our country.

that Eastwood was a Democrat. Maybe they slighted him in some way and his ego couldn't take it.

Just remember how Rowdy Yates looked and how he looks now...does he still expect people, especially women, to regard him as a hunk? Or the guys to regard him as a he-man?

Somebody hurt his feelings and this is b-busting if you ask me...
