Disaster for Ukraine. President Zelenskyy has agreed to the 'Steinmeier Formula' which which will see Ukrainian defenders withdraw from the battlefront in Donbas and Russian invaders allowed to remain.
Zelenskyy refused to say why Ukraine is surrendering.
FGS, I can't believe it!

(8,922 posts)Trump has been working to deliver Crimea and Eastern Ukraine to Putin, at the same time bringing an end to the sanctions. This miserable fuck has used his presidency to put the interests of Putin above his own country and its allies. He is the ultimate traitor, the worst in the history of our country.

(781 posts)Zelenskyy was going to cave. I read that allegedly putin and Zelenskyy had a private mtg. very recently and note what seemed to be an outrageous remark trump made to Zelenskyy last week regarding "working with" putin.
Emphatically agree also that trump is the most corrupt traitor ever occupying the White House.
How Trumps Response to the Ukraine Scandal Helped Russia"

snipped:
This memo (trump/Zelenskyy call), Fedchenko notes, can be cited by pro-Russia propagandists to show that Trump wont really do anything to protect Ukraine, and Zelenskys remarks about Germany and France can be used by pro-Russia elements to contend that Europe wont be a stalwart defender of Ukraine in its conflict with Russia. This material is useful for Russia propaganda, Fedchenko says. You can recycle it and say that now Ukraine is corrupting the US system and portray the Ukrainian government as an incompetent state and deny the agency of Ukraine. You can say its completely dependent on the US position.
Fedchenko is the director of the Mohyla School of Journalism at National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and a founder of the StopFake.org fact-checking website, which combats Russian disinformation about Ukraine.
