and I think as guv he'll end up accomplishing more, but he's not presidential material and he doesn't really connect with people.

outstanding governor, he rips Republicans apart in debates. Add to that, he's a great bass player, is fit and handsome, and an all-around nice guy. Nearly everyone loves Marty whether you agree or disagree with his politics!

I absolutely adore not only how big of an LGBT ally he is, but how he constantly sticks it to my governor, Chris Christie.

I'm jealous that Maryland has such an awesome Governor.
I can def see him running in 2016. Kirsten Gillibrand or Elizabeth Warren as running mate.

He really knows the issues because he's really working at them all the time, and he's direct and effective in an 'argument' without losing his cool. I've seen him on tv speaking for our party and I've been really proud of him, as most of us Marylanders are.

Another thing I've noticed about him... he's creative and current about solutions and ideas but also practical, a combination you don't see all that often. He really connects with people too -- he's like the polar opposite of Mitt Romney. Actually, he sort of reminds me of Biden in his younger days, only maybe a little better as far as being on the people's side (I love Joe, but he does have that 'Delaware corporate constituency thing', which realistically, is probably unavoidable for him).

It was a breath of fresh air when he won the governorship after four years of the paranoid Bobby Erhlich.
