MITT ROMNEY: "I insisted on having almost dictatorial powers," he bragged

just re-read Taibbi and found this gem:

In reality, though, Romney was unquestionably the decider at Bain. "I insisted on having almost dictatorial powers," he bragged years after the Ampad deal. Over the years, colleagues would anonymously whisper stories about Mitt the Boss to the press, describing him as cunning, manipulative and a little bit nuts, with "an ability to identify people's insecurities and exploit them for his own benefit." One former Bain employee said that Romney would screw around with bonuses in small amounts, just to mess with people: He would give $3 million to one, $3.1 million to another and $2.9 million to a third, just to keep those below him on edge.

Not "sociopath", a word thrown around alot here on DU that doesn't fit. He's a psychopath. And he does this mess with his family and now this articles confirming that he did it with his employees. That definitely explains the vacant look in his eyes and robotic stance. He's completely disconnected from humanity and treats sentient humans as objects.

All of the anecdotal stories we've heard about Romney since he was young support a serious defect in his ability to experience basic human emotions. I would love to watch how he interacts with him family in private.

And that is because it is more accurate....for instance an ax murder is a psychopath and Rmoney is no where near that.
It does no good at all to try to oversell it...it just gives the other side an opportunity to discredit it.

Bain, I'm sure, was operating on a slippery slope of deceit and fraud.

I can only hope that the AG's Bain investigation brings it all to the spotlight.

Given to the company's management to have them look the other way and/or to actually help destroy the company. What's 3 million per manager when you're going to make $100 million in a few months?

. . . describing him (Mitt) as cunning, manipulative and a little bit nuts, with "an ability to identify people's insecurities and exploit them for his own benefit."

Maybe that worked for his weenie, steal legally company, but it will build angry tension between foreign powers. Mitt is poison. Cyanide in a Costco shirt.

Same personality type as the most vicious tyrants in history

I'll bet that under examination, he could be shown to have the Big Six personality traits commonly seen in dictators.

But don't take it from me. Just Google search all the articles on how he plays fast and loose with facts, sometimes entirely making things up.

Here's just one example among many, from The American Prospect:

http://prospect.org/article/errors-matt-taibbi

It's easy enough to agree with his political stance, but it's getting to the point of foolishness now to believe his reporting.

but if you look within the confines of a business, this type of nonsensical behavior creates animosity and chaos in an organization. Crazy people do these things when they have no allegiance to the individuals or the group as a whole, it's a mind game for just the sport of it.

Think some crazy Roman emperor.

from the article. "...cunning, manipulative and a little bit nuts" sums up my instinctive reaction to the man. Not exactly the kind of person one would want in the White House.

That was a great article. I love Matt Taibbi.
