Confusing questions here. Hope i can explain it right

Ok This concerns the power of pardons. Let say tRUMP is impeached and Pence is president. Now if they planned this so pence will pardon everybody while he is president. Now my question. Can pence pardon tRUMP for breaking the law BEFORE he was elected? (by asking Russia for shit on Hillary before the election) If not who will file the charges on tRUMP? (Barr i suppose) TY in advance

1. My answer is...

... yes. I think he can pardon all crimes Trump may have committed, up until the pardon. However, Trump will continue to commit crimes until he expires.

3. Yes, he could do that, but he cannot wipe out the impeachment...

that is forever and blocks the impeached party from holding public office, not that Trump would care about that, but...

Impechment is forever.

5. I'm pretty sure he can pardon any federal crime.

State crimes are another matter. He may try and it may end up in the SC.

6. All of this pardoning crap needs to be delineated and regulated by a D-D-D triad when it comes

Part of a very large election reform and election security suite of legislation that needs doing.

7. Pardoning is a very big problem! With the likes of who's in the whitehouse now. BUT

No clear answer to solving the problem.
