Every freaking morning
I wake up, and go straight to DU hoping to see the post, "Trump has resigned".....
Every.single.morning. I hate him worse than I hated Nixon. Far worse. He needs to go.

29. I try as well,
but this man has brought out feelings in me that I cannot repress. It is hard to be calm and carry on when we witness him daily destroying everything we hold dear.
It is exhausting being outraged each day, but I am also afraid of getting used to all this as the new normal. For the sake of the future and the world we live in, we are right to be outraged and suffer the exhaustion. Tyrants flourish and prosper when we become complacent. What we experiencing is not meant to be comfortable. Meanwhile for my sanity, I take a lot of breaks from the news, but I manage to stay tuned into what is happening on a daily basis. |

68. You are wrong
I have spent my life believing that it would be wrong to sink to the same level as the GOP. I believed the 'when they go low we go high' attitude before it was a meme. I believed that good would triumph and rising above the cheap tricks of the right was better for me and the country.
I was wrong. The GOP has just continued to sink lower and lower. Embracing what is right and doing the right thing has gotten us nowhere in the past 40 years. My children's generation has got it right. They are doing a better job standing up for what is right in the past few years than their parents did. David Hogg and others have chosen to emulate their grandparents and great grandparents; they ARE angry. They give me hope. Anger is NOT the problem. Compliancy is. |

3. He is a disgrace to
humanity. McConnell is vowing to block impeachment, so he is as bad. Party before country is the gop motto, no matter how bad their "leader" is. It looks as though they took a vow. Once an (R) is in the WH, they will keep them there, through thick and thin. Who ever thought anyone could screw up THIS badly? I guess he is the best they could do, since intelligence is scarce in the gop ranks.

8. McConnell is a bigger disgrace to humanity, IMO
He has made it clear that "party above country" is his primary belief. He's vowed that 45 will not be convicted in the Senate without even knowing all of the evidence.
If I was called for jury duty and made a statement like that, I'd be excluded from the jury. McConnell is an even bigger POS than 45, IMO. |

I want it to be sudden, so that there's no ushering him off camera, where they can create a heroic story about his demise.
I want it to be embarrassing, like having him piss, shit, and vomit all over himself in full view of millions. I want it to be unequivocally a result of his disgusting lifestyle. Otherwise his handlers and cultists are guaranteed to create a story in which he labored courageously while in the throes of his secret illness (they'll even cite David Bowie, working until mere days before his death by his undisclosed cancer). On the other hand, there's a very (make that a VERY) good chance that they'll claim that he was poisoned by some Leftwing agent or group, perhaps Pelosi herself, entirely without facts or evidence, but his cult of idiot racist fuckheads will believe it as sacrosanct gospel until the last one of those stupid pieces of shit has died. |

He would buy the paper, glance at the front page, then curse and throw the paper away.
When he was asked by the vendor why he does that, the man replied he was checking to see if someone died. The vendor explained the obituaries are in the back section of the newspaper. The man said "When this sonofabitch dies, it will be on the front page!" |
